Feb 08 - Teddington School - Young Enterprise Challenge

All students in Year 7 and Year 8 took part in an Enterprise activity with 100 students involved in each of the four afternoons. They had an opportunity to create a new shop for a High Street which they had to design and build from the resources provided.

Students had to identify the shop, the name of the shop and the people who would  buy their products. They then planed the design of the shop and where to put all the necessary equipment they needed. They then decided who would take which role and  build their shop. Finally, they presented their shop to the judges and others in the year group.

HOW WE WERE ENVOLVED

Our role as one of the community partners was to act as business advisers throughout the

session and to support and challenge the students as they develop and create their ideas.
